When renowned inshore guide and Flats Class host Capt. C.A. Richardson came to us with a vision for the ultimate inshore jighead, we set out to build a tool worthy of his name and reputation. Engineered to perform anywhere inshore predators roam, the Flats Class™ JigheadZ™ is equally at home from the grass‑laden flats of Laguna Madre to Capt. C.A.’s home waters along the Florida Gulf Coast, and all the way up through the marshes and estuaries of the Carolinas. Its streamlined, low‑center‑of‑gravity head skips cleanly under mangroves, tracks upright through current, and navigates seagrass and oyster shell with confidence. A hybrid multi‑ridged molded and wire keeper grips ElaZtech® and standard soft plastics securely, preventing baits from sliding down on hard casts or during violent strikes. Each jighead features highly detailed, hand‑painted finishes and lifelike 3D eyes that match regional forage and popular soft‑plastic color schemes. A custom super heavy‑duty black nickel needlepoint hook delivers the brute strength needed to handle redfish, seatrout, snook, small tarpon, flounder, striped bass, and other powerful inshore gamefish, standing up to hard runs, sharp headshakes, and locked‑down drags with braided line. Offered in 1/8‑, 3/16‑, 1/4‑, 3/8‑, and 1/2‑ounce weights with proportionate size 2/0 through 4/0 hooks, the Flats Class JigheadZ pairs perfectly with MinnowZ™, DieZel MinnowZ™, DieZel KickerZ™, Scented PaddlerZ™, Scented Jerk ShadZ™, and Big BallerZ™, and is available in six eye‑catching colors.
