About Jamie
Jamie was born and raised in one of North America's most dynamic and untamed outdoor destinations, Lake of the Woods, Ontario. Taking full advantage of the exceptional fishing the area has to offer, Jamie has honed his fishing skills to be able to compete with some the best bass and walleye anglers in North America.
After years of maintaining consistent finishes and wins in Canada's most competitive events, Jamie wanted to test his ability against some of the best. In 2022 he fished his first ever single-boater events in the United States; the Bassmaster Southern Opens. Jamie placed 3rd and 19th in the 225 boat fields, and the taste of high level competition has him back down south fishing all 9 of the Bassmaster Open's in 2023.
Jamie's passion and involvement in fishing is not limited to tournaments, and extends to sharing the experience with others through media. Jamie is the host of the "Get The Net" Podcast, Co-Host of Stray Casts': Into The Great Wide Opens, a YouTube Video Creator, and a staff writer for Hooked! Magazine.
In the off-season, Jamie spends some of his time "getting lost" and exploring remote ice fishing destinations in Northwestern Ontario.
